The NIK-240 PU-Based Solvent Gravure Ink for Reverse Lamination
Our PU-Based Solvent Gravure Ink is a high-performance ink system developed for reverse printing and lamination applications in flexible packaging. Based on advanced polyurethane resin technology, this ink delivers excellent adhesion, superior flexibility, and outstanding lamination bond strength, making it ideal for demanding food packaging structures. The PU resin backbone provides strong anchorage on treated films such as PET and BOPP, ensuring excellent results in cellophane tape adhesion tests and reliable performance during lamination and downstream converting processes. The ink is available in both high-gloss and matte finishes, offering design flexibility for premium packaging. Formulated with a balanced and controllable drying profile, the ink performs smoothly on high-speed gravure presses while minimizing solvent retention. Drying speed can be customized according to press conditions, solvent systems, and customer requirements. Designed with safety and compliance in mind, this ink features a low-odor formulation and is suitable for food packaging applications. Non-toluene and non-ketone versions are available on demand, supporting converters targeting international regulations and export markets.
